Marketing Manager - Commercial Roofing

 Responsible and accountable for the development, management, & implementation of marketing programs and materials to support QT’s strategic plans & objectives. This position has organizational responsibility in planning, goal setting, execution and supporting a sales and service team culture, along with working closely with QT leadership to support the mission & strategies of the overall Company.

Essential Functions:

Marketing Plan Development & Execution:

Work with QT leadership to set marketing goals, objectives and plans.
Maintain marketing budget.
Manage QT brand standards.
Execute strategic plans for new product & service development and launch.
Identification & implementation of key products.
Communication of plan with QT leadership and staff.
Utilize targeted direct mail, email and social media to increase customer share and in some cases, new customer acquisition.
Competitive industry analysis to include pricing and account reviews to maintain QT competitiveness and to maximize profitability.
Direct, coordinate and execute message delivery channels including, but not limited to on hold messages, social media, print ads, program books, radio, TV, tradeshow displays, brochures, newsletters, signage, website, direct mail and more. This includes content, compliance, creativity, consistency of message, and QT standards regarding logo placement, etc.
Marketing Materials, Promotions & Events:

Direct and coordinate events & sponsorship opportunities. Represent QT at events
Develop contact and coordinate communication tools (brochures, website, direct mail, promotional items, etc.).
Requirements to work some long days, evenings, and weekends for company, customer, and industry marketing and promotional events.
Interest in construction and roofing industry and competency development. Personal investment and willingness to learn and represent QT services, products and systems.
Sales-Marketing-Production

Coordinate and manage leads and bids, working with project managers.
Qualify incoming leads, opportunities.
Manage commercial permit process.
Assist PM’s with FCS, paperwork and generating project change orders.
Other Responsibilities:

Primary liaison with customer base thru phone contact, email contact, online chat, survey responses, letters, etc.
Basic knowledge of database marketing and CRM experience.
Ongoing research of industry trends and news.
Be active and involved in local organizations, including MSCA, MHA, etc.
Additional marketing and sales duties, projects, and assignments as directed by QT leadership.
Equipment Used:

PC, Microsoft Office Products, QT applications, social media.
Physical Requirements:

No out of the ordinary requirements.
Ability to move and set up tradeshow displays, exhibit materials.
Education, Skills and Work Experience

BS degree in business related field required.
Involvement in industry associations and conference participation/networking.
5+ years of work experience in marketing, sales or business development. Construction industry experience is valuable.
Ability to multi-task
Professional language, writing and grammar skills.
Experience with CRM, design applications, Photoshop, etc., a plus.
